Site Popularity |
| |
Empire Poker is still a leading online card room. They have very good traffic and attract many new customers with good promotions. They offer plenty of feeder tournaments to big land based tournaments, in particular WPT events and the WSOP. At peak hours the site sees approximately 2000-2500 real money players in ring games and anywhere up to 4000 real money tournament players. Empire still however shars its player base with Multi Poker, Eurobet/Coral and Intertops so they are sure to continue to build in these statistics. |

Software / Graphics |
| |
The software has very good functionality and the playablity excellent. The software is pretty good but a few steps behind some sites like Titan Poker. The software is the same as that used by Party Poker. The lobby is very easy to navigate around but their are ommissions in functionality. the site does not support view flop percentages and in addition the statistics see the ommission of hands played per hour. The software has seen 3 upgrades in the last 2 years which has made huge improvements. You can take player notes and you can see the average pot size which is based on the last 20 hands played at that given table. You also have a "My Favorites" button which allows you to keep table names as favorites. |

With over 2 Million in guarenteed prizes, the site is a good choice for any poker player. |

Customer Service / Support |
| |
The customer support is not great and response times are fairly slow but the staff are very knowledgable about the game and do provide good support when they get back to you. With the recent loss of Party Poker player base there is no excuse (having 70,000 players) and this is an area that they need to focus on as there is room for improvement. |
